Head of Facilities and Assets - Northern Venues

Located within the vibrant Launceston area Stadiums Tasmania manages two of northern Tasmania’s premier venues, the Silverdome and UTAS Stadium. UTAS Stadium is a true icon of Tasmanian sport, home of the Northern Bombers Football Club, and the northern base of the Hawthorn Football Club and Hobart Hurricanes. It plays host to a diverse calendar of elite sport, major concerts, and community events. Soon, it will take on an even greater role as the northern home ground of the Tasmania Devils Football Club when they join the VFL and VFLW in 2026 and the AFL and AFLW competitions in 2028.

The Silverdome stands as northern Tasmania’s premier indoor entertainment arena — a dynamic, multi-purpose venue that hosts events such as Tasmania JackJumpers home games and Super Netball, exhibitions, conferences, and live performances. Together, these two venues form the beating heart of northern Tasmania’s sport and entertainment scene.

As Head of Facilities and Assets, you will provide strategic leadership across asset management, facilities operations, and capital delivery for Northern Venues, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and at a standard befitting world-class events. You will oversee asset lifecycle planning and compliance to ensure that Stadiums Tasmania’s vision to deliver world class events. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of two of northern Tasmania’s premier venues, driving their performance, sustainability and reputation.
